Giverny has no train station of its own. Every option starts with the same geography: the village sits 7 km south of Vernon, on the right bank of the Seine, 75 km west of Paris. The choice comes down to how you bridge the last 7 km and whether you value price, speed or comfort most.
For solo travellers and couples on a budget, the Saint-Lazare → Vernon train plus the municipal shuttle works very well — around €33 per person round-trip.
